Love Rutledge
Love Rutledge is an executive coach and host of the FedUpward Podcast, a program dedicated to providing practical information and advice to federal employees. She holds the Associate Certified Coach credential from the International Coaching Federation and advises clients on leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and career advancement.
Prior to launching her coaching practice, Love served more than 25 years in the Department of Defense, culminating as a member of the Senior Executive Service in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment. Her federal career included roles in the Office of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, the Department of the Navy, and Headquarters, U.S. Marine Corps. Her expertise spans defense financial management, budgeting, readiness, human capital, and strategic communication. Love holds a B.A. in Communication from Tulane University, an M.P.A. from The George Washington University, and an M.S. in Defense Resource Strategy from the Eisenhower School at the National Defense University.
